Lanier Counseling Services, LLC focuses on solutions to everyday problems. Our specialties are marital/couples counseling, dealing with dynamics relating to affairs, stress/anxiety and depression, and assisting individuals in developing healthy coping mechanisms related to past and present difficulties. Each of our therapists also have their own expertise in a wide range of areas (including children and adolescents). We are located in Buford, Georgia just behind Buford City Hall. It is common for clients to come to us from many surrounding northeast Georgia communities. We, also, serve as the EAP (Employee Assistance Program) for Makita Corporation of America and SKF, as well as the primary referral source for Peoples Bank employees and are the local provider for several national EAPs. We offer day and evening appointments.

Lanier Counseling Services, LLC has been in operation since 1985. We offer practical, interactive, solution-focused assistance. Our approach is to provide support and usable information to help clients resolve current situations and patterns that may be causing problems. We incorporate a blend of conventional and innovative approaches aimed specifically at providing rapid relief and sustainable improvements. How well these things work will depend on how hard you work. You will not get judged, discounted, or preached at. The services you receive at Lanier Counseling, and the concerns you bring, will remain confidential unless you decide to release that information to another party (like an insurance company).

We are very goal oriented and see our role as assisting you to achieve those goals through understanding, education, coaching, and our many years of training and first-hand experience. With sensitivity and compassion, we will strive to build on strengths to achieve the goals you provide us.
