Scheduling with our counselors is very different than scheduling with other healthcare providers, or even the airlines. We do not double-schedule or over-book. We commit a specific time period for only you. Our schedules may be crowded so that canceling or rescheduling an appointment without sufficient notice often means the loss of counseling for someone else who needed the appointment time. Therefore, we ask that you give as much advance notice as you can if you cannot keep your appointment.
If at least 24 hours notice is not given, you will be charged a fee for the missed appointment. This fee cannot be billed to your insurance. Unfortunately true emergencies arise. We will depend on your honesty and work with you if at all possible.
